atha: an auspicious beginning

Atha is the first of the yoga sutras and it is defined as “readiness and commitment.” It is an invitation to start a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Here at atha we believe that EVERY DAY is a gift and an invitation to move, breathe, and start again.

strength + flexibility + wellness

A safe space to gain strength and flexibility. Learning to trust yourself. Learning to translate that strength and flexibility into who you are in the world.

yoga

We offer Vinyasa style yoga classes in a variety of formats. Classes are usually 60 minutes and are all-levels unless stated differently. Privates are available by appointment. Please bring your own yoga mat, we have some available for rental if needed.

meditation

We offer mindfulness meditation practice. This practice focuses on bringing awareness to the mind and body in the moment using breathing techniques, guided imagery, and other practices to reduce reactivity and increase awareness and calm.

Transforming wellness

Until one is committed, there is a hesitancy; the chance to draw back. The moment one definitely commits to oneself then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would otherwise never have occurred. Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.

A Stott Pilates Studio

Stott Pilates is a modern approach to the Pilates movement that was started by Joseph Pilates almost 100 years ago. Pilates is a core-based exercise program that connects mind and body to improve posture, balance and increase strength and flexibility. Using Stott’s Five Basic Principals of Breath, Pelvic placement, Rib cage placement, Scapular movement and stabilization and Head and cervical placement, we will give you a full-body workout that incorporates precise movements with a breathing technique that will leave you feeling stronger and revitalized!
